Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Beta has been recently released and like its previous 2010 and 2011 suite, it doesn’t allows users to activate Kaspersky 2012 using a license key file i.e. without an activation code. Don’t worry, we previously shared working tricks to do this task and we’re back with a similar method for the latest build of KIS 2012.
Tutorial – Activating Kaspersky 2012 license using key file
1. Open Kaspersky 2012 License Manager by clicking ‘Insert your activation code here’ or ‘Manage License’ (from lower right corner).
2. Click the ‘Activate the application’ button.
3. Disable your Internet connection (either disable Network adapter from control panel or turn off your modem/router).
4. Select the ‘Activate commercial version’ radio button and enter the activation code as 11111-11111-11111-1111X. (Delete any trial key first if you want, by clicking the red X next to the license number).
5. Click Next, you will then get the option to activate kaspersky using a key file.
6. Browse to the key location on your computer and activate kaspersky using a key file. You can then turn on your Internet connection.
P.S. Process tested on Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Beta (version 12.0.0.234).
Kaspersky Lab, producers of one of the best and most popular security software ‘Kaspersky’ has released the Beta build of their upcoming new security suite Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 (version 12.0.0.234).
I just tested the new Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and was surprised to see a completely new GUI once again. KIS 2012 includes a Windows Sidebar gadget, Task manager, and a range of other new features. It now offers a trial license of 3 months. Currently, there are no signs of Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 BETA at their official forum.
You can consider trying the latest KIS 2012 Beta and report any suggestion or bugs to Kaspersky via their forum. Activate trial version of this beta to use it Free for 91 days.

Just visit this page http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/KIS2012/ and download the build 12.0.0.xxx (one with the highest version number), sized 136 MB.
Note – This beta release can encounter issues and may be unstable, intended only for developers and testing purposes. It is advisable not to install it on primary machines.
